Transforming Care Book Seminar: Reablement in Long-Term Care for Older People

The book will be presented by four of its co-editors and authors: 

  • Tine Rostgaard (Professor, Roskilde University, Denmark and Stockholm University, Sweden): The rationale and perspectives of reablement 
  • Hanne Tuntland (Professor, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Norway): Reablement model features
  • Amy Clotworthy (Assistant Professor, University of Copenhagen, Denmark): Promoting ‘autonomy-compatible’ reablement
  • John Parsons (Associate Professor, University of Auckland, New Zealand): Client-level outcomes and cost-effectiveness of reablement.

The seminar’s discussant is Caroline Glendinning, Emerita Professor, University of York, England. Following comments from the discussant, there will be time for an open discussion and questions from the seminar’s participants.

The moderator of the seminar is TCN chair Professor Costanzo Ranci, Politecnico of Milan, Italy. The technical host is David Palomera, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain, with the TCN management team.
