You are right! The call for abstracts in November will primarily be based on the thematic panel proposals accepted by the TCN Scientific Members. However, we also welcome all other papers related to care issues and our 2027 conference themes—these will be categorized under “Others.” Please check the website for details on the themes.

You are welcome to submit more than one! For example, you can submit a symposium or thematic panel proposal before September 15th, and also submit an abstract for a thematic panel in November.

It will not exceed €350. In fact, if we secure additional funding from government agencies, universities, and fundations, the registration fee could be even lower.

Once the symposium proposal is accepted by the Scientific Members of TCN, the organizers will leave that decision up to the convener. So yes, you may either proceed with 3 authors or find a substitute author.

Both are very welcome! All proposals and abstracts will go through a review process (abstracts submitted in November will be reviewed by the conveners of each thematic panel).

Conveners can definitely be presenters. However, the Discussant should not be a presenter, as the main idea is to have an external perspective.
